The Gary Strong Award was created in honor of Gary Wimmer, father of our Creative Director, Jake Wimmer, and a longtime best friend of the Strus family. Gary showed incredible strength, courage, and positivity throughout his four-year battle with cancer, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Each year, the award recognizes an individual or family facing an incredibly difficult challenge with that same strength and determination. Through the award, the Max Strus Family Foundation is proud to provide support while sharing stories of resilience that deserve to be heard.
Gary’s legacy continues to live on through every recipient and every story we have the privilege of sharing.
